  • Check all parts and fittings against the parts list before starting.
  • Do not throw away packaging until all parts are confirmed.
  • Keep small parts away from children during assembly.
  • Ensure you have enough space around the bed to assemble it safely.

Read All Warnings Before Assembly

Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or damage.

The mattress must be on the frame before operating the lift mechanism.
Keep hands clear of the mechanism when opening or closing the ottoman.
Only adults should operate the ottoman and TV lift mechanisms.
Keep children and pets away from the bed during and after assembly.
Always fully open the ottoman before accessing the storage area.
Only use the handle when lifting or lowering the bed frame.
Do not overload the internal storage. Max height 215mm.
Max storage weight: Double/King 40kg — Super King 50kg.
Do not lie on the mattress while the ottoman is in the raised position.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the ottoman open from either side?

Yes. The bed can be assembled to open from the left or right depending on how the angled corner brackets and side rails are fitted during assembly.

Are HDMI and media cables included?

No. Media cables such as HDMI and aerial cables are not supplied with the bed. Only the mains power lead for the TV lift mechanism is included.

What size TV can the bed hold?

As a guide, the Copenhagen TV Ottoman bed will accommodate an LED flat screen TV up to 43 inches.

Can children operate the ottoman or TV lift?

No. Both the ottoman lift mechanism and the TV lift mechanism should only be operated by adults. Always keep children and pets away from the bed when operating either mechanism.

How much weight can be stored inside the ottoman?

Do not exceed 40kg for Double and King size beds, or 50kg for Super King size. The maximum storage height is 215mm — items must not touch the slats from below.
